Abstract

A nutrition-aware family (KADARZI) is a family that is able to recognize, prevent, and overcome nutritional problems of each member. A family is called kadarzi if it has good nutritional behavior which is characterized by at least (Ministry of Health, 2007): weighing body weight regularly, providing exclusive breastfeeding, eating a variety of foods, using iodized salt, and taking nutritional supplements as recommende. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the Relationship Between Knowledge Level and Husband's Attitude About Nutrition-Aware Families in Bacukiki District, Parepare City. Analysis Technique: This research is an Analytical study with a cross-sectional study design. The location of the research was conducted in Bacukiki District, Parepare City. The population was all heads of families in Bacukiki District, Parepare City with a sampling method, namely Quota sampling with a total of 120 samples. Results: The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between the level of knowledge and the husband's attitude using the chi square test, the P value (Value) = 0.002 was obtained with a significance level of 5%, because the p value = 0.002 <0.05. Based on the results of the study obtained, the researcher expects good cooperation between housewives and heads of families (husbands) so that a nutritionally conscious attitude can be realized.
